A cliche shot from none other than second beach. We all know icons are icons for reasons. This beach really took me by surprise especially the hike in. Extremely beautiful place despite the crowds. This was taken at sunset as the hordes of photographers made their way to capture this scene as it presented the calmness I felt just standing there. I liked the varied tones of blues and the hint of reflection.

I'm not sure if it is regularly accessible. You would need a very very low tide to make it out there. I'm sure it is possible, but don't know how easy it would be to get on top of the rock.
Who cares about cliches? I have grown to not really though I do have a thing about being in a place with scads of other photographers. Seems to take a little away from my experience, but not a lot. If a scene brings happiness and joy to you and your world then it's a keeper. Like you I appreciate the color on this scene and the serenity.
Well, theres a reason things are photographed so often, and when you get to that place in person, you soon realize why. Almost any icon I'd like to visit and get my shot, but more so try to find something different. Sometimes we just have to make lemonade with the lemons we get
