There is something about shooting into the light that is so enticing and spectacular. The challenges are usually great, but in this case, it just seemed to work. The sun is already below the horizon here, but still casting it's powerful light into the clouds above, which then reflected onto this beautiful landscape. I am so glad I can call this area home, because it really is just that spectacular. The southwest may be intimidating in the summer with the extreme temps, but when the storms roll in, you are almost guaranteed a fourth of july fireworks show provided by mother nature.
