Coming together: The sequelby ~PeterJCoskun

If there were such a place that is hidden in secrecy to be a gem for photography, this location is it. I have returned to this spot time after time only to be happy leaving with at least one image to make my day. These barrel cactus are the one and the same as those in my image "Coming together". This is facing opposite of that. The light was exploding as the sun just crested the horizon for it's final bow. I NORMALLY try to avoid a subject in which I already felt I successfully photographed before, but I was in the spot, saw the light, and went for it. The glow cacti can hold is just perfect for photography and definitely adds a punch whether it is light like this or elsewhere. I am starting to grow very fond of shooting into the sun. After all this great light it began flashing in all directions with lightning. Seemed slow going at first, then picked up with full force. I decided it was time to get the hell out of there before my good luck ran out for good. Comments and thoughts appreciated.
