This was taken on the same day as "August burns red". This was about 30-45 minutes before hand. The light became so bright that half the photos I took during this frame were washed out and blew the highlights like I have never seen. I finally got the settings to work with the light and this is what came out. I still had to tone down the light in post because it was that bright. The sky became crazy with the blues and purple hues. I honestly have never seen such a spectacular display of light in one outing. Simply unreal. Not the best of comps, but I couldn't pass it up.
Superstition mountains- Lost dutchman state park, Arizona
That is some serious light! It contrasts really well with the sky. Honestly the comp is perfectly fine. All I notice is the sunset. Great title as well.
