Human Footprint by PeterJCoskun Human Footprint by PeterJCoskun
A rare image from me that includes a person. This was one of the very few times where I wanted to have a person in my image. As I left Lone Pine and rushed to death valley, I found myself at the mesquite dunes just before sunset. Knowing I only had moments to grab a shot, I switched my lens and started scanning the dunes for good patterns. A break in the clouds lit up the side of one of the taller dunes and the lone figure at the top just sorta seemed to glow. I was only able to get the one shot from here, and it ended up being one of my favorites from the trip. A quick change of plans and some luck allowed me to get this image.

Mesquite dunes, Death Valley national park- California.

I love this style of shot. The human is about as important to the shot as a focal point to a mirror.

Man, you are killin it lately. Just the right amount of light and detail. I like how the smooth foreground flows and twists over the textured background.

Thank you! Just trying to get some new work in new locations. This was one of those "chance" photographs.
