Keeping up with the star wars theme here. How could you not think of such a thing when you see something like this? Light fog in the forest makes for some magical conditions. I would have preferred to come here early in the morning for some sunbeams, but I'm happy with this.

Del norte coast redwoods, California.

Not much of a Star War(rior) myself but I assume you could easily plant (pun absolutely intended) this frame into a lot of fantasy/sci-fi plots. Really digging the glow of the backlit leaves against the old growth. Really striking scene, Peter!

Thanks David I appreciate it, with the right conditions the redwoods can be a great setting for almost any type of story... I at least hope you DON'T like star trek then either haha.

Ha, no worries. Yeah, the Redwoods are great. I just wish I had taken advantage of them, instead of sitting out the bad light at Bandon on my way back from PDX to the Bay. Oh, just excuses to return.

I need to return as well and I just came back from that trip. Can't get anything done when your traveling with all non photographers (ie: my recent trip). Managed some good stuff from each spot though surprisingly.
