On the way out of Havasupai, we passed these falls one last time. It was early in the morning, soft light, chill in the air. We were here, so why not stop for a moment to photograph it? Standing here and taking in one of the most beautiful sights I can recall, I almost forgot to take the camera out. It was just such an enjoyable moment for me, being in such a place with perfect conditions. The falls here plunge around 50ft from the top, which is quite impressive. The fact that they had autumn trees clinging to the top, and across the water against the red rock walls just made it all more pleasurable. Of course, a little luck came on my side as a band of clouds floated just above where I was hoping to shoot my scene. It was a great location to end the photography for this trip, and I enjoyed this spot maybe even more so than the others I was fortunate to photograph. I cannot wait to return to this paradise in the desert!
