Silhouetted tufa formations contrast with an incredibly colorful sunset on mono lake. This might have been one of my most productive outings in getting keepers shots, and yes, I do have more to share in the future. This image reminds me a lot of the images seen from bandon Oregon with the sharp seastacks jutting out beach. I have a huge huge trip coming up next month that I'm really excited about, so forgive me if I don't post any "new" images in the coming weeks. It's been as dry as a bone since I left for my last trip over a month ago and there doesn't seem to be any sign of rain or monsoon storms coming soon. Hopefully they will because we desperately need some rain as well as Colorado, New Mexico and the whole west coast. Very scary time of year in the southwest especially when it is this dry. "Rain dance"...
