The box canyon dwellings in wupatki national monument have been tumbling down over the years but can still be made out to know that they are where the native americans used to live...The background of the image shows the volcanic mountains that shaped the landscape surrounding flagstaff...The mountain to right are the san fransisco peaks and the mountain to the left is O'leary peak. If you look closely you can actually see the citadel pueblo ruins towards O'leary peak and the box canyon dwellings are under the san fransisco peaks

(updated version, re-processed and threw a nice border on it.)

There are some pretty neat areas right around Wupatki. Love the low shrubland that you caught in this scene. It's very representative of the landscape in the area. You may want to note in your description that what you see to the left of the Peaks is initially O'leary peak. Mt Elden is out of sight, on the other side of the peaks from this vantage point. The picture on Wikipedia is from the south, looking north, but you can recognize the general shape of it. :)
